SYNOPSIS:
The fate of civilization is uncertain as rumors spread across the land of an ancient evil king and impending war. Upon hearing such news, many leave their homes in search of a mythic sword wielded long ago by a hero known as the STEWARD. But the sword has been lost for centuries and the Steward of old has also faded into myth and legend.
In a small village, a young nameless boy soon finds himself swept into the search for the sword. He and a group of rough sailors embark on an adventure they never could have imagined. Across the sea, into caves, over mountains and through giant forests, they search for the sword. Can it be found in time to stop the evil king's conquest and bring peace back to their land?

WHY WE ARE MAKING THIS FILM:
The Steward’s story is a reflection of reality, artfully told through the lens of a fairy tale. Many of the situations and circumstances the main characters find themselves in are the same that each and everyone of us will face in one form or the other. Each daring encounter will teach a life lesson to the audience and help instill the values that are so lacking in our modern society. Honesty, integrity, bravery and honor are some of the virtues displayed for youngsters and adults alike to observe. The Steward is an adventure that every child needs to see and experience.
WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS STORY:
Children and adults will benefit from the story of the Steward. Not only will Christian audiences enjoy this faith filled work, but secular audiences will find the story gripping as well. This is at its core a faith guided film but not too overt in its nature. The subtle truths that are woven into the story are universal and timeless.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Paul Barrowman is an independent author, artist and craftsman raised in the wilds of the pacific northwest. Some of his previous work includes the book, The little man and the dragon, Bellicose and the independent film FRIGID (Seattle International Film Festival 2009) Paul Barrowman is an avid outdoorsman, U.S Coastguard veteran and student of the Bible. Many of the stories he writes are based off of his real life adventures and situations at some point we all will face.

Heavenly Films LLC is a full service Christian CG animation production studio motivated, dedicated, and passionate to producing quality films that entertain, teach, challenge, and inspire audiences of all ages.
The production company was founded in May of 2008 with ambitions for developing and utilizing the best technology and methods for producing quality CG animation and rendering capabilities.
As of result of many years of research and development, Heavenly Films LLC created it’s own in-house cloud software for CG rendering management. Built from the ground up, the fully automated platform optimizes the rendering process from a single pixel up to 8K for a variety of image formats and render engines. The software utilizes the both CPU and GPU rendering and is design to render single and multiple jobs simultaneously.
